Medicine People Pricing

Medicine People is committed to expanding opportunities for volunteers and students to access our life-changing wellness and educational programs along with our service immersions through an equity-informed fee structure. Our tiered pricing structure endeavors to make the opportunity to participate in our programs more accessible to all while furthering the important conversations that must happen around current structures inhibiting equal access to underprivileged communities.

Please note we have an “Access Level” Rate available for most of our programs. This access rate is offered below the cost of hosting the program in order to assist participants with financial limitations and encourage the exploration and practice of service. There is no need to apply for a scholarship to benefit from the access rate, please simply select this option at registration. We hope that including direct access to this reduced rate allows for more interested participants to bypass the scholarship application process to receive the support they need.

Of note: all of our program fees and memberships are tax-deductible.

FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

Due to the generosity of Medicine People’s community of donors, we offer the following types of financial assistance, if needed, in addition to the “Access Level” Rate: deferred payment plans or Equity, Inclusion and Diversity Scholarships.
Deferred Payment Plans
The basic guidelines for our payment plans follow:
Deposits are excluded from payment plans as they are used to secure your spot in the program. The balance after the deposit is made can be split into payments that accommodate your needs. The balance must be paid in full prior to the start of a program. Exceptions may be made for repeat students, practitioners, and volunteers.
Once the payment plan request is received, we will reach out to you to create a payment schedule.
Equity, Inclusion and Diversity Fund

We acknowledge the global need for a wider growth container and a recognition and respect toward lived experience and diversity. Historically, western education and institutions have been inaccessible due to a conflict in values for many communities and cultures, or colonial modes of access. There is a deep need for a multicultural (not mono-cultural) learning environment.

The Equity, Inclusion and Diversity Scholarship Fund was established at Medicine People in 2016 seeded through multiple generous donations in an effort to meet this need. Equity, Inclusion and Diversity Scholarships are for people of color and/or those who are underrepresented due to their gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, social class, and ethnicity and those in need of financial support.

Please keep in mind that our funds are limited, so requesting the minimum needed will enable more people to benefit from this fund. Please read the Scholarship Guidelines and Terms below before applying.
